Manage your CRM with Odoo v9 and its integrated website
Odoo v9 is now out for almost a quarter and have brought multiple new features to attract your customer and keep them. On this Christmas eve I wanted to share with you 17 tips and tricks to make contact with your target.
By default Odoo 9 is a full ERP able to manage CRM, Sales and Marketing, Procurement, stock, Finance, Point of Sales and more (full feature list here).
1. Good old Contact us form
This one sound obvious but did you know that the contact form content automatically creates a CRM leads in your backend with all relevant information?
Sounds good right? But did you know that you can now use the website form builder to create customized forms with fields from the ERP and custom content?

2. Live Chat and dedicated support
Odoo 9 comes with a full webchat application which can be use internally and of course as a chat support for your website or directly as a private channel to your customers or suppliers...

3. Powerful use of aliases and catchall emails
Communicate easily with your prospects, customers, employees through a simple catchall mail system and multiple aliases for any object in the ERP.
No need anymore to save an invoice pdf, go to your email client, add attachments and send documents. From now on, in one click your customer receives any document from the ERP and that is no tall. Whenever he replies the email, his answer will be archived properly in the ERP and any follower will receive a timely notification!
4. Create Mailing Campaign
Invite your customers to follow your newletter and easily create powerfull content with the drag-and-drop editor.
You can use the full power of the WYSIWYG editor based on Bootstrap to format your mailings and follow the KPI (open/delivered/spam...)
5. Create a periodic Newsletter
Offer regular content for your products or services and let your visitor subscribe to your newsletter.

Create a community around your product or simply support mails to reach out
7. Comment after the blog post
Integrated blog post with the CMS in which you can allow your visitors to register and comment.
8. Create a forum for your community
Forum are powerful tools to build community and gather them around selected topics.

9. Organize your events and registration
Events can be fully organized in Odoo 9 while giving the possibility to the organizers to invite their participants to register in the website.
You can get all registration information online, receive their payment andmail their badges in advance while the day or the event you just have to scan it for confirmation.
